The dates of this internship are February 3-7, 2026.

The Certified Oklahoma Bred Association believes hands-on experiences are one of the most important aspects in developing future leaders. During the 2026 OBSE, we are offering 15 internship positions that will assist with operations and productions of the show.

Internship positions include office interns, marketing and communications, and show logistics and ring management. We look for individuals with a strong work ethic, leadership ability, and a passion for the livestock industry. A stipend will be provided, along with all meals and lodging.

  • Show Office/Show Management Interns: For this team, we are looking for individuals who are skilled in attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. The office is what makes the show run. These interns will be in charge of correctly gathering exhibitor packets, t-shirts, assisting with breaking classes, and communicating directly with exhibitors and their parents to answer any and all questions throughout the show.

  • Logistics/Setup/Ring Management: These interns will be our boots on the ground for the production of the show. We are looking for applicants who are knowledgable in how a show ring works, have strong communication skills, and can work effectively alongside a team to achieve a common goal.

  • Communications/Marketing Intern: This individual will be in charge of keeping the Certified Oklahoma Bred Association social media platforms up-to-date throughout the duration of the show. They will be tasked with creating graphics as the show goes and efficiently sharing them to our social media platforms, correlating correct results from the staff to our followers, and consistently posting on Instagram and Facebook stories.
